2010 West Coast Beneteau Cup Regatta
The 2010 West Coast Beneteau Cup was held on April 10th and the 11th, starting from Fremantle Sailing Club.
The racing divisions were IRC, spinnaker and cruising division.

2010 Geographe Bay Regatta
Squadron Marine and Beneteau are proud to be major sponsors of the 2010 Geographe Bay Regatta.
There will be a morning race briefing from previous winner and local, Brad Skegg’s.
Major Tom will be hosting a cocktail party for all owners.
A Beneteau First 40 will be on display at the 2010 Geographe Bay Regatta.
Beneteau FIRST 40 Wins the 2009 Rolex Sydney to Hobart |
Two brand new FIRST 40's, Two True and Wicked came first and second in the IRC Division in the 2009 Rolex Sydney to Hobart. In the ORCA Division, Two True came first overall.
In the cruising category, an Oceanis 50 took the honours, with an Oceanis 37 claiming second.
It was a historic occasion to see two identical FIRST 40's taking the first two places in a fleet ranging from 100 foot super maxis to 33 foot sailing boats.
Winning skipper Andrew Saies commentd "Great boat this new Beneteau. She just jumps out of the water. It is a fast boat, we had belief that this boat was going to race well and do ok in this event. It excelled."
2009 Busselton Geographe Bay Regatta |
The 2009 Geographe Bay was held in Busselton in March 2009. Beneteau was represented by the strongest fleet, with 15 boats competing.
Congratulations to the following owners:
In the IRC Racing Division:
- In 1st place was Brad Skeggs in Minds Eye, a Beneteau First 34.7
- In 2nd place was Chris Hogan, in a Beneteau First 40.7
- In 3rd place was Laurie Flynne in Fairy Tern, in a Beneteau First 34.7
- In 4th place was Greg Hansen in Phatom, a Beneteau First 36.7.
In the Premier Cruising Division:
- In 1st place was Rod Mulcahy in Slipstream, in a Beneteau First 40.7
- In 3rd place was Rick Hoad in Serendipty, an Oceanis 46.

Christening of the "Phantom" Beneteau First 36.7 |

Greg and Maren Hansen, family, crew and friends had a christening ceremony at the Royal Perth Annexe in celebration of the launch of their new Beneteau First 36.7, named "The Phantom"
